The Komatsu Imp were sculpted from the iron-rich, red, clay of Komatsu Mountain and are adorned with bark horns from the native pine trees. The Komatsu Imp are easily bribe-able if you have spare pinecones to offer. Their lack of intelligence is made up for with ferocity and a deep, spiritual connection to the mountains that birthed them.

When a Komatsu Imp is sculpted, their clay bodies are stuffed into a carved out silhouette in a tree, from which they will emerge days later after the tree has filled the Imp with life.

Komatsu Imp have taken a liking to the Capybuirrel native to Komatsu Mountain. They have a shared fixation for pinecones and acorns.

Imps are mortal enemies with the aggressive Komatsu Pine-Peckers, who seem to always hunger for Komatsu flesh.
